Gas suppression systems extinguish fire by rapidly reducing oxygen levels or interrupting the chemical reaction of combustion, without leaving residue or causing secondary damage. Common agents include FM-200, Novec 1230 and inert gas blends.

Ideal for server rooms, control rooms, switchgear enclosures and archive storage, these systems provide fast, clean suppression that protects both the environment and the critical assets within it.

Water mist systems discharge fine water droplets at high pressure, creating a mist that cools the fire, displaces oxygen and blocks radiant heat. The reduced water volume means less structural water damage and faster recovery after discharge.

These systems are well suited to heritage buildings, hotels, residential towers and marine environments where minimising water damage is as important as effective fire suppression.

Foam systems work by forming a blanket over the surface of burning liquids, cutting off the oxygen supply and suppressing flammable vapours. They are available in low, medium and high expansion configurations depending on the hazard profile.

Commonly installed in fuel storage depots, refineries, aircraft hangars and loading facilities, foam systems are a proven solution for Class B fire risks where water alone would be ineffective.

Pre-action systems require two independent triggers before water is released - typically a fire detection signal and the activation of a sprinkler head. This dual-action approach virtually eliminates the risk of accidental water damage.

These systems are widely used in data centres, server rooms, museums, archives and telecommunications facilities where unintended water discharge could cause significant damage to sensitive equipment or irreplaceable assets.

Unlike standard sprinkler systems, deluge systems use open sprinkler heads connected to a valve that releases water simultaneously across the entire protected area. This delivers rapid, high-volume suppression where fire can spread quickly.

Typically installed in power stations, chemical storage facilities, aircraft hangars and transformer rooms, deluge systems are engineered for environments where the consequences of fire are severe and immediate response is critical.
